Seal Kit - Metal Sprayers NBR

This seal kit contains a range of different O-rings, a compression chamber collar and a valve seal for use with our Stainless Steel and Metal sprayers that are fitted with NBR seals.

The kit contains a range of seals, O Rings and a one-way valve and piston ring for the compression shaft. The last two are the hardest working internal part of your sprayer as they move every time that the compression shaft is pumped to build pressure within the sprayer tank. As they work so hard they are often the first parts to show wear especially the piston ring.

Why is the piston ring the first part to show wear?

The piston ring isn't necessarily the first part to show wear however it slides up and down within the compression shaft when you pump the sprayer handle to build pressure within the tank. As it has to maintain a seal with the walls of the shaft, its movement causes friction which can cause heat especially if the shaft is not greased. This heat can cause damage to the ring. The kit contains a replacement piston ring.
