Product Description
Replacement seal kit for our range of high pressure water tanks including both the plastic tanks (3 bar) and metal tanks (6 bar).
The repair pack contains two O-rings and compression shaft valve, both of which are made from NBR rubber, and a replacement piston ring. These parts will enable you to, very easily and quickly, keep your dust suppression tanks running should a part either be showing signs of wear or require immediate replacement.
The O-rings are replacements for the main ring that is positioned at the top of the tank and creates the seal between the tank and the compression handle. The second O-ring seals the tank and the water hose. The shaft valve is found at the base of the compression shaft and is really a one-way valve as it allows air to flow from the compression shaft into the tank but stops water from travelling in the opposite direction. The piston ring is found inside the compression shaft and is attached to the handle rod. It must create a seal with the inside of the compression shaft in order to push air into the tank.

FAQs
How do I change the piston ring?
It depends upon the model of the tank that you have as to how you gain access to the piston ring. If you have a plastic 3 bar tank then generally all you need to do is to extend the compression shaft (so pull it all the way up) then twist anti-clockwise. This should unlock the lid of the shaft giving you access to the piston ring which you just change for the new one. With the 6 bar tank you need to remove screws from the lid of the compression shaft to remove the rod.
