Seal Kit - Cleaner Range EPDM

This repair kit contains 6 replacement O-rings, a valve seal, compression chamber piston ring and two replacement filters. These are the main moving parts in the compression sprayers within our Cleaner range that have EPDM seals that give high resistance to alkaline based chemical solutions.

What is a piston ring?

The piston ring is the circular part with the diamond shaped cut out as shown in the product photo. This sits inside the compression shaft and is attached to the end of the compression rod (opposite end to the pump handle). This moves up and down inside the shaft as you pump the handle to increase pressure. It therefore moves a lot and must create a complete seal with the shaft otherwise it will leak air and you will find it hard to build pressure. As it moves so much it can slowly wear so may need to be replaced.
