IK Inox Sprayer
IK Inox Sprayer
SKU:0020
The IK Inox is a range of stainless steel compression sprayers with two tank sizes available, either 6 or 10 litre capacities. These are very robust, easy to use and comfortable to carry. Both sprayers offer 6 bar maximum working pressure which is ideal when spraying at height or when using liquids with a high viscosity.

Product Description
The IK Inox are professional quality, stainless steel, sprayers that are very robust, easy and comfortable to use and, most importantly, are constructed from quality materials.
The liquid sprayer is supplied with a 1.8 metre hose, a large integrated funnel to make for easy filling, a safety valve set at 6 bar, a support for the spraying lance, a pressure gauge, a connector for compressed air, a belt for carrying it on a
shoulder strap, two spray nozzles (adjustable cone and fan) and a wide base for greater stability and foot support.
The tank of the IK Inox is made from stainless steel and is generally used in the construction industry and property or land maintenance sectors.
These sprayers have been created for use with vegetable and animal oils, low-viscosity release oils, hydrocarbon-based solvents, lubricants and
petroleum products, thus making them ideal units for spraying weed killer and, within the construction industry, spraying mold release agents or a wide range of cleaning chemicals.

FAQs
Why is the tank size different from the working capacity?
With compression sprayers you must have room, within the tank, to pressurise air which will then push the liquid out of the tank. This is why there is a difference and this difference is called ullage. If the sprayer has a 13-litre tank but we recommend a maximum fill of 10-litres which gives an ullage of 3-litres which you pressurise when you pump the compression handle. The more pressurised air that there is within the tank then the longer spray time between stopping and re-pressurising the tank. Be careful when buying sprayers as you need to know the fill volume/capacity not the tank size.
Why should I use a Stainless Steel sprayer?
They are strong, look very good, are robust and can handle higher content temperatures. If you are trying to decide whether a stainless steel tank or a steel tank is the best option for you, the main difference is that the steel tanks are painted to protect the steel from the housed liquids. This means that if the internal paint is damaged, maybe the tank has been dented, then the hosed liquid can get in contact with the steel and start to corrode the tank. Basically, stainless steel tanks should have a longer lifespan than steel tanks.
You say that this sprayer can be used at 6 BAR, how do I know when it is at pressure?
Our Super Extreme sprayers have a pressure gauge fitted which will show you the air pressure within the tank. This is very helpful as sometimes you will just want the most pressure possible especially if you are trying to spray a very thick liquid but some products will recommend a spraying pressure for optimum performance. With the gauge you can see exactly the pressure that you are spraying.
