FAQs
Can I use this sprayer with the telescopic lances?
Yes. This battery powered sprayer can be connected directly to our long telescopic lances including both the 5.4 metre and 3.2 metre models which makes this a very good option especially when using the lances to reach over or into hard to reach areas such as large patches of nettles or into lakes or rivers. In addition to the extension lances, these electric sprayers can be used with our spray booms which are designed to increase the width of your spray pattern which is especially good when you want to spray large areas or multiple rows of planted crops. The increased spray pattern can greatly reduce spraying time as well as wasted products. We have two spray booms; a four nozzle wide boom and an adjustable two nozzle.
What is the difference between 3bar & 6bar working pressure?
The amount of bar basically means the amount of pressure that is pushing the liquid along the hose and lance and out of the nozzle. Generally speaking, the higher the working pressure then the harder the liquid will leave the nozzle.
How long does this sprayer take to charge?
If you have allowed the battery to run completely out of power then a full charge could take around 2 hours but, generally, a standard recharge is normally around 20-60 minutes unless you have completely drained the battery.
What does the 'maximum spray' mean?
This sprayer has two spray settings (low & high) which is to reduce spray waste when you are looking to spray different types of chemicals. The two settings use different amounts of battery power with the higher pressure obviously using more than the low. This is why we give two figures for the maximum spray and it is intended as a guide to show you just how much a full battery charge can allow you to spray.
Can I buy a second battery?
Yes we have replacement batteries to either replace a damaged battery or act as a back-up allowing you to always have a charged battery on hand.
