Batimust

As well as general cleaning, Batimust will also remove staining from within natural stone as many types of porous stone, such as sandstone, can suffer with black marks. These can be very hard to remove with standard cleaners however Batimust can lift the marking and help to return your surfaces to a clean condition. A 5kg container of Batimust will give an approximate coverage of between 25 - 50m2 depending upon the type of surface and level of cleaning that is required.

We advise using Batimust neat (undiluted) and applying it directly to the areas of heavy staining or when cleaning porous mineral surfaces such as sandstone. The surrounding areas can then be treated with a diluted solution. The whole area should then be washed. A following treatment with Baticlean CR will keep surfaces clear of natural staining.

General Cleaning:

Mix Batimust with equal parts water and apply to the surface. Allow to stand for 15 - 30 minutes (do not allow it to dry) before rinsing the area with water. Coverage for this type of cleaning will be approximately 10m2 per kg.

Heavy Cleaning:

Apply Batimust direct to the surface. Allow to stand for 15 - 30 minutes (do not allow it to dry) before rinsing the area with water. Coverage for this type of cleaning will be approximately 5m2 per kg.

A small pressure washer is ideal however rinsing with a hosepipe will be another method of application..

For a long lasting and easy to maintain finish we recommend the use of Baticlean CR solution in order to long-term protection.

Always read the label and product information before use and wear suitable protective eye wear and clothing.

Why does Batimust need to be rinsed?

Batimust is a product that is designed clean on contact and is therefore not pH neutral. As it is an alkaline product, we recommend that the surface is rinsed however don't be too alarmed as the rinsing does two jobs. Firstly, it is rinsing the product but secondly the mechanical action of rinsing will help to remove the dirt and staining.

Which sprayers can I use for Batimust?

As Batimust is a high alkaline (base) cleaner we recommend that you use a sprayer that is designed to handle such products. If you are uncertain about the compatibility of a sprayer that you may have then we have a number of sprayers, within our range, that are designed to work with alkaline products such as our Cleaner units that can be found in the Accessories section above.

What happens if I don't use a compatible sprayer?

Our alkaline sprayers are mainly fitted with EPDM seals which have a high resistance to most alkaline products and, as such, will operate normally when used. If your sprayer isn't fitted with resistant seals then they will start to break down when they encounter an alkaline solution which will, eventually, lead to leaking of both the liquid and air.
