Fix Plus Oil Resistant

Our Fix Plus compression sprayer has a fill capacity of 5 litres and is an ideal option for many types of product application within the construction industry as well as property maintenance.

The sprayer is most suitable for spraying formwork oil, surface protection oils and many other sprayable construction chemicals. The plastic tank can be carried by your side (with the supplied shoulder strap) or by our wheeled transport trolley and has a large pressure cushion, which means less frequent pumping.

The Fix Plus is equipped with a professional pump, an ergonomic pump handle, a 50 cm long and 360° rotatable plastic spray lance with a special chemical resistant, flat jet nozzle 80-01E, and a 2 metre transparent oil-resistant hose. It also has FPM seals which offer high resistance to many construction chemicals. Spray and extension pipes can be optimally stored on the device. The easy-to-clean integrated dirt filter is another good feature of this sprayer.

• Seals - FPM - Synthetic rubber with high elasticity properties which makes it a very good product for the protection of seals and O-rings. FPM seals are are highly resistant to hydrocarbons, oils, strong acids, aromatic and chlorinated solvents and has a high temperature resistance.

This just looks like another 5-litre sprayer?
In a lot of ways it is just another sprayer however the fitted spray hose has a high resistance to many types of oils meaning that it won't breakdown when used with products that will cause damage to many other types of hose. It is also fitted with FPM seals that also have a high resistance to oil and many petroleum based products.

What does Tank Ullage mean?

Ullage is the name given to the gap between the maximum fill and the total tank capacity. It is important with sprayers as the larger the ullage is then the more space there is for compressed air. The more compressed air you have then the longer spraying time you have before you run out of pressure. This sprayer has an ullage of 3-litres which is very good for a sprayer with this size of tank.

Can this sprayer be used with your long telescopic lances?

Yes, there is no particular reason why you can't use this sprayer with our 3.2 metre or 5.4 metre telescopic lances. You would connect this sprayer to the lances in exactly the same way that you would our other sprayers. There may be other sprayers that would be more suited to use with the long lances so feel free to ask us for assistance if you are unsure of the best sprayer to meet your spraying needs.

Can I use this to spray weed killers, biocides and surface cleaners?

You can use this for the application of weed killing and moss killing products as well as biocides (which many people use to kill moss) and general surface cleaners. With weed killers you will find that the vast majority are liquids (all of the the weed killers within our range are liquids) and are pH neutral so there should not be an issue with using the sprayer. With moss killing and biocides, it can be used with our Baticlean CR which is pH neutral as well as Batifast and Batimust which are alkaline based, strong surface cleaners.
